Shared data protocol agreed with national statistics offices

Safer exchange of aggregated indicators

Partner national statistics offices have agreed a shared data protocol that supports safer exchange of aggregated indicators feeding the Child Visibility Index. The protocol clarifies responsibilities for quality assurance, aggregation thresholds, and documentation of source systems.

It is designed to reduce ad-hoc bilateral arrangements and to give ministries confidence that Index inputs meet common standards without exposing unit-level personal data. Annexes outline revision processes when national statistical classifications change.

Participating offices will pilot the protocol on a core indicator pack before expanding to extended dimensions later in the year.
