Partnership with regional child protection networks expands

Aligning metrics with prevention programmes

The Initiative is expanding its partnership with regional child protection networks so that Child Visibility Index indicators sit alongside prevention programmes already operating in communities. The aim is to reduce duplication and ensure that measurement informs, rather than displaces, frontline practice.

Network leads will help map which Index dimensions most closely track existing referral pathways for families at risk. Joint working groups will also test how aggregated visibility scores can support regional planning without requiring new parallel reporting burdens on local services.

The expanded partnership includes shared learning exchanges and co-authored guidance for members introducing visibility reviews into annual prevention plans.
